This is part 3 of a 3-part series.
The tools
I like to call it the toolbox since that is what the picture is of.
Note: Word of warning this area can be tricky. It's very important that you do not delete or disable any of thing in the start-up that has a file path of c:\windows\system32 . You also may not want to delete/disable your anti-virus, backup, video card, or sidebar.
We do not recommend deleting anything in the start-up and only disabling start-up items.
Some common items to disable are: Instant messaging software, Google update, Adobe update, Adobe ARM, anything Apple or I-Tunes, etc.
The idea here is anything that you don't use on a daily basis or items such as anything I-Tunes Google Update, etc. These items do not need to be started when the computer is booted because they will be started when you use each service or program.
So how do you disable these items?
1. Open the CCleaner.
2. On the left hand side click on Tools.
3. Now inside of Tools click Startup.
4. Now select each item that you want to disable and on the right hand side hit the disable button.
You can reference the screen shoot below so you know that you are on the right screen.
